Mak-Addis Tutoring (Ethiopia)

About Mak-Addis Tutoring

Mak- Addis Tutors (MAT) is an academic initiative that aims to alleviate the problems identified in the growing rate of urban youth unemployment in one hand and the declining quality of student’s knowledge and the visible lack of competency in their education in the other. Simply put, we connect students that need an extra support in their education whether to soar ahead or stay on track, with qualified tutors.

Our company provides tutors that are verified in advance for their academic competency, preliminary security check, and background records to provide exceptional service. Additionally we equip the tutors with basic ethical code of conduct, and bind them with a written agreement.

Mak-Addis Tutors provides matchmaking services in tutoring various academic courses for students ranging from Pre-KG to Pre-College in Addis Ababa. Focused primarily on basic curricular courses, tutoring is also available in courses including: Music and Music Instruments, Languages, life skills and also special needs courses.
Our uniqueness lies in the range of service we provide and the geographical area we cover. Mak-Addis Tutors is a 2 times award winner for its social contribution especially for the unemployed youth. We train our tutors the basics of Human Centered Design (Design Thinking) concepts so that they provide the best humane service for our clients. With this regard they serve us as a key contributor for our daily innovation in our approach of doing business.
